Dr. Roseanne J. Foti is a Senior Consultant at Performance Insight, LLC, and an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology at Virginia Tech. Roseanne’s external consulting activities include test development and validation, performance management, employee coaching, leadership development, and expert testimony. At Virginia Tech, in addition to managing graduate training, Roseanne teaches a variety of courses, including teams and leadership processes.
Roseanne received her doctorate in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from The University of Akron. She has conducted research and authored papers on the impact of personality characteristics and employee perceptions in leadership emergence and effectiveness, the impact of leadership on team performance, and gender and leadership. She is a member of the American Psychological Association, the Society for Industrial/Organizational Psychology, and the Academy of Management.
Roseanne’s personal time is spent mostly in family-related activities. Roseanne, and her husband and children love to plan tennis and travel.
