Dr. John J. Donovan is a Senior Consultant at Performance Insight, LLC, and an Associate Professor of Management and Human Resources in the College of Business Administration at Rider University. Over the past 13 years, John has served as an external consultant to organizations to address areas such as employee selection, executive leadership assessment and development, and enhancing team effectiveness and collaboration. At Rider University, John teaches courses on Human Resource Management, Managing Organizational Behavior, and Enhancing Motivation through Compensation.

John received his Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology at the University at Albany, State University of New York. John is an active member of the Academy of Management and the Society for Industrial/Organizational Psychology (SIOP) and has presented numerous papers at the major conferences associated with these organizations. In addition, John has published his research on work motivation, training design, and employee selection in peer reviewed journals such as the Journal of Applied Psychology, Human Performance, Journal of Applied Social Psychology, Educational and Psychological Measurement, and Journal of Managerial Issues.
